Are Potions real?

I get daily emails from viewers asking about potions.  They want to know if such magick is real and if so how it works and of course how they can get started.  Now I know we all love Prof Snap. I was not even a fan of the movies but I still love Alan Rickman’s performance.  I may be biased though I adored him as an actor. What I think is fair to say we all love and know the image of beakers heating and bubbling on a table or a large cauldron of brew simering.  The power of the brew is a perfect science of arcane art just waiting to be cooked up.

Well some of that is true making potions is indeed a lot like cooking and I personally consider it very much part of Kitchen Magick.  Though the perfection of the elements combined to have any hope of it working, lucky that part is not true.  So in response to these questions and emails I decided to do a video talking about real potions and how to make them and use them in your personal practice. If you would like to view it you can find it on my YouTube Channel here.

Magickal Uses of Mugwort

Today In our Urban Magick and Kitchen Witchcraft Series. I wanted to go over the magickal properties of one of my favorite herbs for journeywork and trance work Mugwort, In the video below we cover its uses and some ways to use it in your magickal practice.

Mugwort has been known to be harsh on the liver so if you have liver issues or if you are pregnant or lactating avoid taking mugwort internally such as tea form. ALWAYS consult with your doctor for the safety of use.
