To continue our focus on Dragon Magick this month we will be going over how to perform the first ritual I teach my student in Dragon Magick. This is the Basic Dragon’s Flame Ritual though there are ultimately four variations of this ritual each more complicated than the last. Even this first one is an amazingly powerful ritual that can ramp up the power and success in any working.
That said when starting out in dragon magick its first and main functions are to help you get to know the first four Draconic Rulers and to aid in meditation and getting to know and understand the energies of Dragon magick.
In the video above we went into some detail on how to do this ritual and the visualization one needs to use. Below is a short summary of the ritual and visualizations.
Basic Dragon Flame Ritual Summery
Say Ruler of the Dragons of Earth I call you. Cleans, Protect, and Empower this space with your flame.
As you say this visualize a large dragon rising up for a mountain or forest breathing fire into your workspace with you in the center.
Say Ruler of the Dragons of Air I call you. Cleans, Protect, and Empower this space with your flame.
As you say this visualize a large dragon flying down from the sky breathing fire into your workspace with you in the center.
Say Ruler of the Dragons of Fire I call you. Cleans, Protect, and Empower this space with your flame.
As you say this visualize a large dragon rising up from a volcano or emerging from primal fires. breathing fire into your workspace with you in the center.
Say Ruler of the Dragons of Water I call you. Cleans, Protect, and Empower this space with your flame.
As you say this visualize a large dragon rising up from the primal waters of a lake or ocean breathing fire into your workspace with you in the center.
Spend a few minutes breathing in and feeling the energy this ritual and call into your space. From here you can move on to do any meditations, spellwork, or communications with the elemental rulers you would like to.
Then politely and respectfully say farewell and thank the dragons for their help.
